Boehner Outlines Changes if G.O.P. Takes House
Inspired by the resent NY Times article by the same name, I decided to write this post to declare how excited I am by the latest rounds of comments and sentiments coming from Republican leaders. It remains to be seen if they will stick to their guns after returning to the majority or if they will fold like a reed in the wind the same way Obama did.
From the article: “Mr. Boehner placed both Republicans and Democrats in the cross hairs, arguing that both parties had engaged in the sins of earmarking, overreaching and partisan pettiness. He was perhaps trying to appeal to an electorate weary of partisan bickering and legislative inaction, and to respond directly to the calls for “changing the system” that have fueled many Tea Party candidates this year and President Obama’s campaign in 2008.”
